Hi! My name is Megan and I have been a school-based and early intervention, pediatric occupational therapist for over 15 years. I earned my Masters of Occupational Therapy (OT) from Duquense University, along with a Bachelors of Biology and a Bachelors of Health Sciences. I grew up in the Greensburg area and live locally with my husband, 11-year old son and 9-year old daughter. We love the outdoors, bike riding, ice cream, kayaking and playing with our chocolate labradoodle! Over the years while working in the pediatric field, I have developed flexible, specialized and skills necessary to work with this population - all while loving what I do! Whether you are in need of a full OT evaluation and individualized plan, or would like to see carry-over from a current OT school plan, I am looking forward to working with you and your child to address your OT-related needs and concerns. Hi, my name is Callie Norman, and I’m an Occupational Therapy Assistant here at Toman Therapeutic Services. I earned my Associates of Science in Occupational Therapy Assistance from the Community College of Allegheny County in 2020. I bring over 5 years of experience working in a school-based setting, where I supported students in developing the skills they needed to succeed in learning, play, and daily routines. That experience has helped shape my passion for empowering children to reach their fullest potential through meaningful and engaging therapy while helping children grow with confidence and independence. In addition to my clinical work, I serve as the COTA Representative for District II of the Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy Association (POTA) and am the new Second Co-Chair for the Children & Youth Special Interest Section (SIS). These roles allow me to advocate for the occupational therapy profession, stay connected with current best practices, and bring fresh, evidence-based strategies and resources into my work with children and families. Here at Toman Therapeutic Services, I plan to collaborate closely with Megan, families, and caregivers to create individualized sessions that are both fun and goal driven. My goal is to make therapy a positive, encouraging experience where every child feels supported, successful, and celebrated. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and can usually be found with a good cup of coffee in hand. I love being outdoors and often visit local parks with my energetic 5-year-old German Shepherd mix, Roo! Hi, my name is Leslie Miller and I'm an Occupational Therapy Assistant who is very excited to join the team here at Toman Therapeutic Services. I earned my Associates of Science in Occupational Therapy Assistance from the Community College of Allegheny County in 2007. I come from a background working in a variety of long-term care settings, which helped build a strong foundation in patient-centered care. About 3 years ago, I transitioned into pediatrics and quickly discovered my passion for working with children of all ages. I have worked with school age and currently work full time with the early intervention (3-5) program throughout Westmoreland County. I love supporting kids in developing the skills they need to grow, gain independence, and succeed in their everyday lives. I enjoy bringing creativity and fun into each session, using play and sensory-based activities to keep kids engaged while working toward their individualized goals.
